1984

Newly Incorporated Company

The business is incorporated by Matt Gingles & Brian O’Donnell as a rot contractor and was involved in rot work reinstatement in a large number of traditional Glasgow Pubs.

1992

The Tron Theatre, Glasgow

Comprehensive redevelopment & refurbuishment of The Tron following an ERDC Funding Grant of £5M.

1996

Stakis Riverboat Casino, Glasgow

Complete fit out of the new Stakis Riverboat Casino in Atlantic Quay, Glasgow including manufactured joinery and new gaming tables.

1996

The Bon Accord, Glasgow

Refurbishment and extension of this renound Glasgow Whisky Bar including new bar and the creation of a large extension to the rear.

1998

The Rosevale Tavern, Glasgow

Fire damage reinstatement of The Rosevale Tavern, Glasgow

1998

Brannigans Bar, Dundee

Creation of large ‘Super Pub’ for First Leisure within the listed King’s Theatre Building in Dundee; this required a great degree of expertise working within historic buildings and strenuous cooperation with Historic Scotland.

1999

Revolution Nightclub, Edinburgh (Century 2000)

Substantial structural alterations were required to create a multi-level venue with 4 Large Bars, a VIP Bar /Gallery being designed. The Project was awarded Discotheque of the Year in 1999 for the UK by BEDA.

The Naughties

2002

Tennent’s Bar, Glasgow

Complete eradication of rotwork together with a full refurbishment of Tennants Bar meant it’s unchanged Victorian feel remained intact for future patrons; that is not to say that everything about Tennent’s has remained unchanged. It was one of the last bars in Glasgow to prohibit women, barring them until the late 1970s.

Extensive refurbishment of 355 bedrooms within this well known London hotel.

Manufactured joinery and bars for Colin Beattie of Oran Mor.

The Griffin Bar(s) Glasgow, full refurbishment

Complete interior and exterior refurbishment of this trio of landmark Glasgow pubs.

Complete bedroom and front of house refurbishment of this renound, historic five star hotel.

Conversion of this Victorian print works into Glasgow’s premier night spot, including multiple bars, restaurants and clubs.

Tilecraft Purchase Shares

Tilecraft purchases the entire share capital of Curot Contracts from the original owners after more than 25 years at the helm.

Martin Mccoll joins as managing director of Dimension, tasked with bringing the business into the 21st Century and , becoming Group MD in 2014.

Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow

New project for Hard Rock in Glasgow; the transformation of an old theatre into this modern eatery in record time.

2015

Martin Mccoll oversees the relocation of both businesses relocating to a single premises in Paisley.
